Customized Income Portfolio
MCD Advisors, LLC is now offering a service for clients who are interested in portfolios that provide income. A client may wish to have an income producing portfolio either because the income is needed to meet living expenses or because the client is a more conservative investor. There may be some growth in the portfolios but the expectation is to maximize income, using a tax efficient strategy.
Financial advisor, Marie DeCaprio, will use her extensive experience managing bond portfolios to choose individual bonds for each client account. Individual bonds generally have less interest rate risk than bond funds as individual bonds have a finite term. These bonds may include municipal, treasury, agency and corporate bonds. In addition, Marie will seek other high yielding funds and individual stocks to add diversification to portfolios. Specifically, she may buy open end mutual funds, closed end mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs)(publicly traded only), and international and domestic stocks (all publicly traded).
Marie will have complete discretion over portfolios, which means that before consulting with you, she may buy and sell as she deems appropriate thereby taking advantage of any short term market dislocations. Portfolios are customizable so the client may place limitations on certain investments.
